It's Friday again, and you know what that means. Pickup lines time. You can thank me for these on Monday after your awesome weekend. Here goes... Our first icebreaker of the night: My magic watch says that you don't have on any underwear. (target claims they are wearing underwear) Damn! it must be 15 minutes fast. (If they claim that you're right, you should be able to take it from here without any further assistance from me) [click for more...]

First, let me apologize. I found this story a month or two ago and forgot to post it. So, alcohol may not be so great for short term memory, but according to a study from the Dementia Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. The study shows that those who drank 8-14 drinks a week were 37% less likely to develop dementia. This reduction in risk is about equal to the reduction in risk experienced by exercising 3 times a week. So, I guess if you're not gonna exercise, drink up! Or better still, grab...
There is a rumor brewing that Macauly Culkin, life long friend of Michael Jackson, may have donated sperm with an unknown surrogate mother to concieve Prince Michael II, aka Blanket. And as odd as it may sound, it's spreading fast, and an anonymous source has stated that "This isn't...
And here we go again... Summer's almost over. Seems like it just began. Well, it's Friday night, and I know you're here to figure out how you're gonna score tonight. Well, we've got a few winners this week. The first is likely to confuse. Strike in this moment of weakness. Number two is a surefire win for the gold diggers. And number three, well, it's not for beginners. Executed properly, it's an almost guaranteed win. Executed properly... Ok, well, enough talk... here we go...
22 times. Twenty two frekkin times. That is how many times today's subject of discussion has been arrested for DUI, his latest happening in New Mexico this past Monday. He is 51 years old. Let's say for argument's sake that he got his first DUI at age 21. I have no idea if that's the case or not. It could have been earlier, it could have been later. But if that was the case, this works out to a DUI every year and four months. His BAC level was .393 - nearly 5 times the legal...
Oh, dear God, no. That was all that I could think when I first stumbled upon this photo in my random quests for content for this site. I do understand the idea behind non-alcoholic wine, AKA grape juice, and its importance in our world. I can even understand the idea behind having non-alcoholic beer and the place that it fills, though I would never drink the stuff, not because it contains no alcohol, but more because it contains no flavor...
Those wacky Brits are at it again. A new bar has opened up called Alcoholic Architecture. First off, let me just say that regardless of my opinion of the establishment, I‘m disappointed that this name has now been taken, and there won’t be some museum by this name featuring MC Escheresque buildings, modified trailer homes and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Ok, that’s off my chest now. So, this bar comes to us from Sam Bompas and Harry Parr, whose previous contributions to society include scratch and sniff cinema and jelly banquets.
Every once in a while, the drunk is the smart one and the cops are dead wrong. This is one of those cases. Ok, we'll forget, for the sake of argument, that in today's case, our hero is a sub-21 person who gets intoxicated at a concert. Yes, underage drinking is a bad. Most sub-21ers lack the judgement and responsibility to safely handle their liquor, and of course, there's the whole "it's the law" thing too. Now, on with the story. So, an Illinois teen goes to a Dave Matthews concert outside of Milwaukee...
Are you kidding me? #43? We can do better than that! This is a list of countries by alcohol consumption measured in litres of pure alcohol consumed per capita in a given year, according to the most recent data from the World Health Organization.
Here on BarLOLz, there are many posts about stupid people and their DUI related incidents. Here's another one. Before I go on though, we just want to point out that, one, drinking and driving is wrong, and our posts here are to make fun of the stupidity of those caught in the act - not make light of it, and B, we'd love to report on other items in the news, it's just that these stories seem to be much more readily available. So, here's another one, and it's a classic. Today's subject...
