Drinking and driving is no joke. Thousands of people die each year as a result of driving while intoxicated - many of which are innocent victims. Tom Mabe and Jim Clark pull off an elaborate prank on somebody who's been convicted of FIVE DUIs. How he could be out and able to attempt a sixth is beyond us.

In the prank, they convince the target, who passed out drunk in his truck the night before, that he had been in a coma for 10 years. What should have served as a powerful message and huge wake-up call ended up being laughed off when he realized it was all an elaborate hoax. Mabe tells him "It's not funny. You could've lost a daughter. Ten years wasted away here." He throws down his surgical mask and walks out.

Hopefully, the message will sink in for "Dennis" when the prank aspect of this wears off. And if it doesn't, hopefully it will strike a chord with one of the millions who have viewed it on YouTube.

Friends, this holiday season, and all year around, please remember. Don't drink and drive. Don't be one of the statistics. Don't risk killing yourself, a passenger or an innocent victim. Don't risk the legal fees, the criminal record, the insurance hikes, the vehicle replacement, the family crisis or any other possible peril from one bad, impaired decision.
